Yogurt cake

A simple, quick dessert with few ingredients. Light and delicious, this cake conquers both children and adults.

  • 150 g of flour '00
  • 200 g of yogurt at room temperature
  • 3 large eggs
  • 160 g of sugar
  • 100 ml of sunflower oil
  • a lemon from which to grate the peel
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

    To make the yogurt cake, first transfer the yogurt to a large bowl.

    Add the granulated sugar to the bowl with the yogurt.

    Now add the eggs and beat everything with the electric whisk.

    Then add the sifted flour and finally the yeast, which is also passed through a sieve and grate the lemon.

    Mix the ingredients well with the help of a spatula and with a movement from bottom to top. Pour everything into a buttered and floured 24 cm diameter mold.

    Bake in a preheated convection oven at 180 ° C until it turns brown, about 35 minutes. You can sprinkle the cake with icing sugar.
